Important MOU's signed - CSEET

India and Japan

To boost cooperation in the field of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) which includes 5G technologies, Smart Cities, Telecom Security among others. The Agreement was signed by Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister for Communications on behalf of India & Takeda Ryota, Minister for Internal Affairs, Japan on behalf of the Japanese side.

India and Japan

In order to enhance cooperation in skills development, India and Japan have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on January 18, 2021 for operation of the ‘specified skilled worker’ (SSW) system. This MoC paves the way for Indian workers with required skills and pass Japanese language tests to get employment in Japan on a contractual basis. It was signed by Foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla and Japan’s ambassador Satoshi Suzuki.

Maharashtra and BSE

BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange) & Government of Maharashtra have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to spread awareness about listing among Small &Medium scale Enterprises (SMEs) of Maharashtra. The listing will help SMEs to raise capital from the public capital market.

Spear UAV of Israel and Paras Aerospace of India

During the Aero India Show 2021, Spear UAV of Israel & Paras Aerospace of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to introduce ‘Ninox 40’ Micro-tactical UAV System (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) into the Indian market. Ninox 40 drone system consists of a Drone & a control unit and is intended for use by Military Forces, Paramilitary, Internal Security & Law Enforcement agencies. It has been designed especially for single-user operations.

IEPF Authority and IGNOU

Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPF Authority), Ministry of Corporate Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for collaboration in using the Tele-Lecturing Facility of Gyan Darshan Channel (EMPC – Electronic Media Production Centre) for telecast of Investor Awareness Programmes (IAPs) through distance learning mode.

AYUSH Ministry & WHO SEARO signed LoE to Depute AYUSH Expert for WHO’s Traditional Medicine Programme

Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) and the World Health Organization South East Regional Office (WHO SEARO) signed a letter of exchange (LoE) for deputation of an AYUSH expert to WHO’s regional traditional medicine programme in New Delhi. LoE was signed by Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush and Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, Regional Director of WHO South-East Asia Region
