What is Company Secretary course?
The CS course or Company Secretary course is specially designed for students coming from a commerce background. However, students from any field, completing their 12 standards have access to this course. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India offers the course to become a Company Secretary (C.S). The course is available via distance learning.

The entrance examination is conducted four times in a year through remote proctored mode. Then the second level starts with two modules (groups) which is executive. A period of minimum one years needed to complete this level and the examinations are conducted twice a year, in June and December. After completing executive, a student can directly go for training, which is compulsory , for 21 months. A small stipend will be paid in this time, but the objective should be to practice and learn. During the training a student can learn and complete the professional level. Overall three to three and half years, a focussed student will take to complete this course.
